SURPRISING PINK
My mom found this armoire at a garage sale for $15. Can you believe it? I know that the paint is ugly, but the piece has beautiful lines.
I gave the outside a fresh coat of creamy paint and then added some va-voom to the inside! I had a quart of free paint from Glidden in this bright pink and I had no idea what to do with it, so when this project came up, I decided to use it for the interior of the armoire. We’re using this piece as toy storage, so it was the perfect place for a splash of peppy pink! It’s such a fun surprise every time we open the doors.
Here is the finished project…
The pretty knobs are from Hobby Lobby. I had no idea that they carried knobs, and during my last shopping trip, I discovered bins and bins of beautiful hardware.

Did you sand it?
I didn’t. I just dusted and painted.
This is great! I love the colors you chose! Camilla
Oh, I don’t have a clue. About a year ago, my dad helped us replace the back. Someone previously had used it for their tv, so they had cut a large hole out of the back. So, we removed the back, replaced it with a sheet of bead board, and then it sat in the garage for another year waiting for me to get around to painting it. =) So… I’m thinking that if it were stamped somewhere, it probably would have been stamped with the maker’s name on the back. Sorry I can’t be more helpful!
Gorgeous! Any idea who makes it? I want something very similar for our living room!
I think it’s beautiful!
